Nordic Nations’ Junior Championship, Nordic Disciplines Kuopio Finland 29th – 31st of January 2010
INVITATION
Finnish Ski Association and Ski Club Puijo cordially invite the Nordic nations Denmark, Estonia, Island, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and Finland to participate in the Nordic Nations’ Junior Championship 2010 in Cross Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. Also other nations are welcome to participate in the event.

Teams Participants in the Nordic Nations’ Junior Championship: DEN-EST-FIN-ISL-LAT-LIT-NOR-SWE can enter: - Ski Jumping 4 athletes max 16 years during the competition year - Nordic Combined 4 athletes max 18 years during the competition year - Cross Country 6 athletes per sex max 18 years during the competition year Additionally each of these nations will have the opportunity to enter by name a maximum of 2 substitutes in each discipline, only when the selected athletes in the team cannot start due to sickness.
Other competitors Any nation may enter an unlimited number of participants in addition to the age limits above.
Technical Delegates and Jumping Judges TD’s of Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Cross Country are nominated by the Finnish Ski Association. The organizer proposes that NOR, SWE and EST will send at least one jumping judge for the jumping competitions. The costs of judges are carried by the participating nation. Please inform the name of the judges the organizer by 29th of December 2009 by E-Mail: puijon.hs@puijonhiihtoseura.fi Additionally Finland will appoint the necessary number of judges.
Entries Entries with the number of competitors and leader by 29th of December 2009 Entries with the names of competitors and leader by 24th of January 2010 - all teams must be entered with name, birthday, sex - Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined should be seeded in 4 groups - Cross Country should be seeded in 3 groups, 2 athletes in each group
Economy Each nation carries its own costs.
Entry fee There is no entry fee for the formal participants in the Nordic Nations’ Junior Championship. Other competitors will pay the entry fee as follows: - Cross Country individual 15 e/person/competition - Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined 20 e/person/competition - Cross Country relay 30 e/team - Ski Jumping team competition 80 e/team - Ski jumping and Nordic Combined training days in the hill 20 e/person
Accommodation The reservation form for the accommodation is attached (click here). The deadline for the room number list is 29th of December and for the name list24th of January.
Waxing Waxing facilities are available for all disciplines on the stadium. On Thursday keys for waxing cabins are given out from 3rd floor office at stadium building. Please, pick up the key before 5 pm. On Friday keys are given out from the race office. Keys are given out for 20 Euro deposit (only cash). For more information: Mr. Erkki Palm p. +358 407 710 150.
Prizes In each competition there will be prizes carried by the organizer, according to the competiton rules.
