Sixteen teams will take part in the 2004 IIHF World InLine Champion-ship in Bad Tolz, Germany, located in the southern part of the three-time host nation. The dates are July 10-17. Finland will look to defend it gold medal, but neighbour Sweden along with the United States and host Germany should provide some tough competition. Along with the top division championship is the Division I level championship, where Japan will look to defend its gold medal against the likes of Brazil and Argentina.  Read more

United States grabs gold against Finland


The United States got its first gold medal at the IIHF World InLine Hockey Championship since 1999 in a decisive 9-5 victory over defending champion, Finland.

The games are played in Bad Tölz, Germany

The 2004 IIHF World In-Line Hockey Championship returns to Germany for the third consecuti-ve year. This year, the champi-onship will be held in the city of Bad Tölz.
